The benefits of being a membership of Thai Hotels Association

  1. General Benefits
    • Acknowledgement of information about hotel and tourism businesses from central and regional Thai Hotels Association in the form of circular, magazine, THA news in every month and from the related governmental and private departments such as Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Board of Investment (BOI) and Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA)

    • Invitation to participate a meeting of THA, which will be held in every 2 months, in order to know about the useful activities. Membership of THA has the right to offer an idea or any complain to the association’s committee and also to participate in a special lecture with the topic related to the hotel business and tourism industry by qualified person.
    • Invitation to participate in an annual meeting of the association in order to know about the summary report of the association’s operation and giving idea with suggestion to develop the business of association.

    • Getting assistance and welfare from the association on the matters related to the business which is subject to the objectives of association.
    • Having right to offer an idea or suggestion to the association or committee on the matters which is subject to the objectives of association in order to bring about the prosperity of the association.
    • Having right to propose and push a law or regulations about hotel business and tourism industry through the THA in order to enter into the process of policy level of government with an aim of protecting the benefit of membership.

  • The association goes forward to collect the information and photos of members for “Thailand official Hotels Directory” magazine, which has been published every year, in order to be the information for both interested Thais and foreigners. The magazine also given to related governmental and private organizations in domestic and overseas.
  • Ordinary and Extraordinary shall sell a room via:
    • Room Reservation Center of THA at the Suvannaphoomi Airport, Phuget, Chaing Mai and throughout the country in the future.

    • Membership could organize a seminar with any topics to develop and gain efficiency of the operation of human in the organization. The seminar is held by the association in every region of Thailand.
    • Thai Hotels Association in connection with governmental and private organizations holds a training and seminar of any projects which related to the hotel business and tourism industry which is beneficial to the membership directly.

Social Role of Thai Hotels Association’s Membership

  1. Being representative of members to coordinate and cooperate about activities with government and private organizations.
