The Association divides 11 groups of the memberships as follows:
- A group of hotels in Bangkok, Pathumthani, Nonthaburi, Samutsongkram and Ratchaburi with 250 rooms upward is entitled to 6 Committee Members.
- A group of hotels in Bangkok, Pathumthani, Nonthaburi, Samutprakan, Nakornpathom, Kanchanaburi, Samutsakorn, Samutsongkram and Ratchaburi with rooms not exceeding 249 is entitled to 5 Committee Members.
- A group of hotels in Central part is entitled to 1 Committee Member (Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Nakhonnayok, Saraburi, Angthong, Singburi, Suphanburi, Lopburi, Chainat, Uthaithani and Nakhonsawan.)
- A group of hotels in Eastern part is entitled to 3 Committee members (Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Sakaeo, Chachoengsao and Prachinburi.)
- A group of hotels in the Western part is entitled to 1 Committee Member (Phetchaburi, Prachuapkhirikhan.)
- A group of hotels in Northern, upper part, is entitled to 2 Committee Members (Phrae, Lampang, Lampoon, Nan, Prayao, Chiangmai, Chiangrai and Maehongson.)
- A group of hotels in the Northern lower part, is entitled to the Committee Member, (Kamphaengphet, Phichit, Phetchboon, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, tak and Uttaradit.)
- A group of hotels in the Northeastern, upper part, is entitled to 1 Committee Member (Khonkhaen, Mukdahan, Kalasin, Nongbualamphu, Loei, Udonthani, Sakonnakhon, Nakonphanom and Nongkhai.)
- A group of hotels in the Northeastern lower part is entitled to 1 Committee Member (Nakhonratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, Chaiyaphum, Mahasarakham, Roi-et, Yasothon, Ubonratchathani, Amnatcharoen.)
- A group of hotels in the Southern part, is entitled not less than 2 Committee Members, but not exceeding 3 (Ranong, Phang-gna, Phuket, Krabi, Pattalung, Trang, Satun, Songkkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.)
- A group of hotels in the Southeastern part, is entitled to 1 Committee Member (Chumphon, Suratthani, Nakhonsithammarat.)
Membership of Thai Hotels Association divided into 4 types
- Ordinary Membership including Individual or Juristic Person who has been given a development license of hotel and full of standard as set by Thai Hotels Association’s committee.
- Extraordinary Membership including Individual or Juristic Person who operate an open business of hotel and having standard as set by the Thai Hotels Association’s committee but does not have full qualification to be an ordinary membership or a hotel which is under construction and having legal construction license.
- Associate Membership including Individual or Juristic Person who operate a business which being one part to promote tourism industry, except the hotel operators.
- Honorary Membership including Individual or Juristic Person who supports the association and accepts the invitation of the association’s committee to be an honorary membership.
