Another challenging one-day race in the Amezing Thailand Adventure Race Series will be held September 17th in Bophut. The race includes biking, running, kayaking and swimming.

The Race Series are being run by Active Management Asia, a professional sport events organizer specializing in athletic races such as runs, triathlons, bicycle and Adventure Races. Adventure racing is a new sport that has exploded in popularity across Asia. AMA is leading that growth in Thailand with its highly popular Amezing Thailand Adventure Race Series, which is being supported by the Tourism Authority if Thailand. Now in its 4th year of operation, AMA has established an international reputation for its professionally organized events, solid logistics and challenging courses.

Those not keen to complete in a strenuous Adventure Race can join the 5 km fun run to be held parallel to the main event. Registration for the fun run is Thb150. But it is free for schools and children. The fun run, to be held October 2nd, will start from the newly constructed road linking the ring road and beach road near Hansar Samui Hotel and finish in Bophut Village.
Trophies will be awarded to the three first runners in each category. Each participant will get a medal.
